"Stalingrad Madonna" is a drawing made by Kurt Reuber, the German military doctor, with a piece of coal on the back of the Soviet geographical map on the night of December 24 to 25, 1942, being surrounded during the final stage of the Battle of Stalingrad. It is stored at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.

A gift from Takeshi Araki, mayor of Hiroshima, to the twin city of Volgograd. Handed over to the delegation led by V.I. Atopov, the chairman of the Volgograd city executive committee.

A gift from K. Pomonas, a Greek tourist. Byzantine temple; on the back there is a portrait of the King George II of Greece (1890-1947), the first constitutional monarch of Greece. On the right there is a pen-written message that reads: “May a piece of a true-hearted Greece stay in the dearest Stalingrad / K. Pomonas”
