A stainless steel jewel box with a plaque (0,4 cm thick) on the top of its lid with the image of medieval masters leaning on the Coat of Arms of the city of Sheffield. At the bottom of the plaque is the motto in Latin: "Deo adjuvante labor proficit". On the left side of the lid one can spot an engraving of a hammer and sickle and the inscription: “To the citizens of Stalingrad / from Sheffield, city of steel / The Great Britain + December, 1941”. On the right there is an engraving of the coat of arms of the United Kingdom followed by an inscription that reads: “To the people of Stalingrad / from Sheffield the steel city / of Britain December 1941”. Four notebooks with wishes and greetings and a list of organisations are tied with ribbons and put in the jewel box.
