The Russian words are written in blue. The inscription reads: “The Soviet flag, the flag of Stalingrad / flying over Berlin taken / by the valiant red Army in May 1945 / Long live the peoples of the USSR “. The next inscription is written in green and reads: “A gift from all the staff of the glass factory”, followed by the words written in black: “Balzaretti and Modigliani” and the ones written with minium pigment: “Livorno, Italy, June 16, 1946”

A gift from the delegation of Chinese cultural workers who visited Stalingrad in May 1954. The metal vase is covered with numerous layers of varnish (resin) and decorated with carvings. The master sought the volume and complexity of the counter-relief. The inside and the bottom of the vase are finished with monochrome enamel (cobalt)

A gift from the city of Turin to the delegation of Stalingrad, Piedmont region, Turin. The animal is depicted enraged. The bull symbolizes a strong city, ready to defend its borders. A Golden bull with silver horns on an escutcheon of azure colour is an integral part of the coat of arms of Turin. On the base of the statue there is a plate with the coat of arms of Turin and an inscription that reads: “Alla città di Stalingrado / la città di Torino / giugno 1961” (To the city of Stalingrad – Turin, June 1961)
