The painter depicted the Square of the Fallen Fighters in the last days of the Stalingrad Battle: a Red Army soldier is hoisting a flag on the Red Army House, a column of war prisoners is moving across the square, in the background on the left the ruins of Central Department Store and other buildings can be seen. The painter was inspired by a photo taken by Grigory Kapustyansky, special correspondent of the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. This photo known under the caption “The Victory Flag in Stalingrad on February 3, 1943” was featured in the world’s leading mass media. The picture is fixed on a cardboard passe-partout; the inscription on the lower edge made in the Russian language reads: “Invincible Stalingrad – cemetery of the German fascism”. The inscription to the right reads: “Ridd S”, the inscription below: “Havana / 1945”.

Brochure with the text of a lecture by Lieutenant General Alexis Schwartz - a Russian emigrant, a teacher at the Argentine Military Academy. The lecture was delivered in March 1943 and is the first public professional analysis of the strategy and tactics of the Battle of Stalingrad.
The author’s inscription on the title page: "To the Museum of Defense of Stalingrad / Let the history of defense / be preserved in memory of peoples / forever for the glory of the Russian arms. / 7 / IX 1944."

Sculptural composition “Brotherhood”
Sculptural composition "Brotherhood". Model of the monument to Karel Pokorný near the building of the Main Railway Station of Prague. The sculpture depicts fraternization of a Czech partisan with a Soviet soldier. Karel Pokorný began working on this composition in the first weeks after liberation of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet soldiers and finished it in 1950. The work was awarded with the Czechoslovakia State Prize and was presented for the Peace Prize.
