The plate is decorated with the city's coat of arms – the fountain Perron on Place du Marché – a symbol of the freedom of Liege and the letters “L G”. The wavy side is decorated with Octave Rose, Deputy Mayor, who visited Volgograd in May 1975.

Traditional whip of shepherds in northeastern Brazil
A gift from a group of Brazilian medical workers who visited Stalingrad in 1953. The whip consists of three twisted leather straps tied together. The gap between the straps is 8 cm. The handle is braided with thin straw of two colours. At the end of the handle there is a metal ring with a leather loop.
