A gift from Choi Yong Gon, the Chairman of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, while staying in Stalingrad. The embroidered inscription reads [translation]: “Wishing best success to the Soviet people in their endeavor to build communism in the Soviet Union and a peaceful world. April 1959. Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea”

A gift from the delegation of the Australian Communist Party that visited the Museum of Defense of Tsaritsyn - Stalingrad on 12.06.1961. "Peninsula plate/Epns A.I."
The Wonthaggi War Memorial is depicted on the front side of the handle with the use of cloisonné technique. On the other side there is a factory mark, ‘Peninsula plate / Epns A.I.’
