The vase is painted green and gold with a hummingbird and a butterfly among leaves and flowers; on the the bottom there is the brand mark of the porcelain factory ‘Herend’ and on top of the glaze there is a ‘PH/1955’ marking printed together with crossed artistic brushes; the numbers "7182" and " 3" were printed on the raw ceramics.

A gift from K. Pomonas, a Greek tourist. Byzantine temple; on the back there is a portrait of the King George II of Greece (1890-1947), the first constitutional monarch of Greece. On the right there is a pen-written message that reads: “May a piece of a true-hearted Greece stay in the dearest Stalingrad / K. Pomonas”
