A flattened vessel on a short leg with two symmetrical handles. The form resembles an ancient Greek kylix but the handles (in the shape of seahorses) rise above the brim. The inscription engraved on the front face reads: “Jeux d'automne internationaux / Dijon. 1960 / Offerte par le comité de manifestations / commerciales dijonnaises" (International Autumn Games / Dijon. 1960 / A gift from the Organizing Committee and the businessmen of Dijon)

"Stalingrad Madonna" is a drawing made by Kurt Reuber, the German military doctor, with a piece of coal on the back of the Soviet geographical map on the night of December 24 to 25, 1942, being surrounded during the final stage of the Battle of Stalingrad. It is stored at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.

Painted vase on a stand
The gift was sent by the Prime Minister of the State Council of the PRC, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PRC Zhou Enlai in September 1952. A blue narrow neck vase. The body and neck are decorated with floral ornaments painted golden. The vase is placed on a wooden carved stand.
