The front side of red plush with applique fabric patterns; back side of blue satin; fringes and twines on the edges; the twine ends with a brush [in the middle – the emblem of the armed forces of the Mongolian People’s Republic (Bügd Nairamdakh Mongol Ard Uls, BNMAU); the inscription above the emblem is in the Mongolian language, the one below the emblem is in the Russian language, both inscriptions read: “From the Ministry of National Defense and Security of the Mongolian People’s Republic to the Heroes of Stalingrad. 1959”.

A gift from the delegation of Argentinean doctors who visited Stalingrad in June 1953. A peculiar coat made of two pieces of hand-made wool fabric sewed together with a head hole left. The neckline is decorated with embroidery in the centre of the front part as well as in the back. On the right and on the left the poncho is covered with decorative vertical brown stripes. The sides and the flaps have a fringe trim. The traditional outer garment of Aymara men, Mapuche and Quechua people, etc. is now worn by farmers and craftsmen of Latin America.

Koto, a Japanese plucked musical instrument. Present from the Japanese delegation to the hero city of Volgograd, [before 1991]
Koto or Japanese zither is a plucked musical instrument, similar to the Russian gusli. It has long and slightly arched wooden body. Its thirteen strings are made from synthetic fiber. It is tuned based on the 6 traditional gagaku tonalities. Koto is sounded with plectrums.

The inscription on the double-edged sword is made in two languages – English and Russian - and reads: “To the steel-hearted citizens of Stalingrad • the gift of king George vi • in token of the homage of the British people”. The sword was presented to I.V. Stalin in 1943 at the Tehran Conference.
