A cast ring decorated with multiple facet cut almandine of an elongated obtuse-angled form; the hardly legible engraving inside the ring in the English language reads
[approximate translation]: “In token of love 1942”.

The author writes, “you will have, comrade Kesselring, the monument you demand from us Italians, but it is up to us to decide what stones it will be built of... and the name of those stones is now and forever Resistance”; the poem was written on December 4, 1952 after the statement was made by A. Kesselring that Italians must erect a monument dedicated to him

The composition is mounted on a wooden stand with metal cartouche plates affixed with engraved inscriptions in English and Tamil on three sides: “Our best wishes to the Volgograd City Council. Given on behalf of Madras Corporation in 1967, by Era Sambandham, the city mayor.”

The gift was sent by the Prime Minister of the State Council of the PRC, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PRC Zhou Enlai in September 1952. A blue narrow neck vase. The body and neck are decorated with floral ornaments painted golden. The vase is placed on a wooden carved stand.
