At the top of the brass plate there is the coat of arms of the commune of Olevano Romano, below it there is a black wording in Italian that reads: “in occasione della visita delle autorità di VOLGOGRAD / L'amministrazione Comunale di / Olevano Romano / a ricordo della BATTAGLIA DI STALINGRADO / 17-07-1942 – 02-02-1943 / “Fame e macerie sotto i mortai / come l'acciaio resiste la città / strade di stalingrado di sangue siete lastricate / ride una donna di granito su mille barricade”. The greetings card is put under glass in a black and golden ‘under an old tree’ plastic frame.
