The top of the jewel box is decorated with the Arms of Canada, 1921; the bottom left corner is engraved with the ‘U.S.S.R. / 1955’ inscription, while the right corner inscription reads: “from / Lester B. Pearson / Secretary of State for External Affairs of Canada”; both sides of the lid are marked with manufacture’s stamps; and the bottom of the box has the following marks: “34/235”, “х 45”.

A gift from the delegation of Argentinean doctors who visited Stalingrad in June 1953. A peculiar coat made of two pieces of hand-made wool fabric sewed together with a head hole left. The neckline is decorated with embroidery in the centre of the front part as well as in the back. On the right and on the left the poncho is covered with decorative vertical brown stripes. The sides and the flaps have a fringe trim. The traditional outer garment of Aymara men, Mapuche and Quechua people, etc. is now worn by farmers and craftsmen of Latin America.

Ashtray shaped as a shoe
A gift from the Indian delegation of peace supporters who visited Stalingrad in January 1953. The surface of the shoe is covered with turquoise and red enamel, decorated with an inlay of a floral ornament. On the" back" of the shoe there is a platform and an indentation for a cigarette. The “toe” of the ashtray is pointed.
