Music box. It reproduces the melody "Life in pink", to which Edith Piaf wrote the verses and made immortal with her performance in 1946. A letter dated 26.05.1954 was enclosed to the music box, expressing the hope that a modest present “will present France in your little museum of international friendship.” Present from the delegation of the France-USSR Society that visited Stalingrad in May 1954. A gift from the delegation of Chinese cultural workers who visited Stalingrad in May 1954. The jewel box is made with the use of cloisonné technique and decorated with floral ornaments. The inside of the box is finished with monochrome enamel (cobalt).
